A 15 year old boy has been murdered on the streets of Camberwell in a fight with a group of youths according to reports from the Met Police.

The boy died shortly after being stabbed by a knife with the victim pronounced dead at 10:30pm yesterday.

Police sources confirmed a murder hunt had been launched and detectives are understood to have made several arrests overnight.

The incident is said to have taken place at Cormont Road.

The Met police have deployed detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.

The victim is the fifth teenager to lose his life because of a weapons related incident.
