A 28-year-old woman has been stabbed to death by a female attacker in Peckham last night.

There are reports today that a gang of up to 20 girls were seen nearby around the time of the killing at 11pm.

No arrests

Dee Willis died in Kings Collage hospital two hours after she was knifed in the upper body outside a Lidil supermarket on Bellenden Road. The area, close to Peckham High Street is said to be notorious trouble spot.

Police have cordoned off the area, no arrests have been made and there is no description of the lone female attacker.

Schoolboy Damilola Taylor was killed nearby eight years ago.
