Murder detectives have released CCTV images of a man shortly before he was stabbed to death on Valentines Day near Crystal Palace football club. Mark Corcoran, 26, staggered into this shop on Whitehorse Lane but died at he scene - police want to talk to the people pictured here who were in the shop moments before the deadly attack. Police now believe that he was stabbed within approx 100 yards of the Subitha Food and Wine store and they are asking the woman pictured to come forward. Corcoran's death occurred the same night tens of thousands of football fans descended on Crystal Palace's Selhurst park for an FA cup game against Aston Villa. The second CCTV still shows Mark Corcoran wearing a stripy sweatshirt two seconds before he collapsed in the shop. DCI Cliff Lyons said: "We would really like to hear from the people in these CCTV stills or from anyone who may know how we can contact them. They are not suspects in this investigation but they may hold valuable information in helping us solve this crime. Mark was probably stabbed within 100 yards from the shop and due to the nature of his injury collapsed shortly after he asked for help. Witness accounts will enable us to get a fuller picture of the circumstances leading to his death, I would urge anyone with information to come forward." If anyone has information or may know the witnesses featured in the CCTV images they should call police on 020 8721 4961; if you wish to remain anonymous please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. A man in his 40s was arrested on 16 February. He was bailed to return to south London police station on 17 February on a date in mid march. Enquiries continue.
