Will Boris storm into City Hall?

Polls from YouGov and thelondondailynews.com are showing clear leads for Boris Johnson over Ken Livingstone with only 3 days left to Election Day.  Bookmaker Ladbrokes is giving 1/2 for Boris to win, the question on the minds of many involved in London politics; has Boris done enough to win on first choice votes?

If you calculate that Boris strength is within the suburbs of London and not the inner cities, but will have strong support from areas like Chelsea and Kensington, the inner city vote that Ken is basing his campaign on is only a fraction of the total vote.

Opinion polls are notoriously inaccurate, and this does not mean Boris should feel he has "got it in the bag".

Three days is a long time in politics, Ken is a notorious campaigner and experienced politician, and if a deal with the Lib Dems is made for second votes then he may still be Mayor on 1 May.
