The scale of the protests greeting the Olympic flame have been on a much larger scale than originally expected, according to reports from the procession.
BBC presenter Konnie Huq at one point was confronted by Tibetan protesters and in once incident a fire extinguisher was used to blow the Olympic flame.
The protests follow similar actions in Athens, Instable and other areas of Europe.
