It is highly recommended that we drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day. So the most fashionable way to stay refreshed is to invest in the latest SIGG collaboration with Vivienne Westwood. The “Get a life, Art Lovers Unite” aluminium bottle in gold, with red and black graphic is the second in the trio of a limited edition set that takes inspiration from Westwood’s Menswear SS11 Gold collection.

SIGG are the manufacturers of aluminium bottles, which are ecologically sound, reusable and recyclable; in 2008 the company celebrated 100 years of production. Having already collaborated with creative icons graffiti artist Keith Haring and New York based designer Kenneth Cole, SIGG have teamed up with one of the most innovative British designers of our generation who is passionate about changing our environment for the better.

The Swiss made bottles were given to guests to coincide with the major fashion week shows, promoting the awareness of an eco-conscious society. Since the release of the first edition bottle, pop fashionistas Nicola Roberts, Pixie Lott and TV presenter Jameela Jamil have been seen using them.
.
The waste and harm caused to the environment by purchasing plastic bottles is something both SIGG and Dame Vivienne Westwood are committed to eliminating. Instead they are offering eco-friendly reusable SIGG water bottles as a chic alternative. 30 million plastic bottles are unnecessary dumped in landfills every day, to help reduce our carbon footprint you can drink from a sleek aluminium bottle without compromising on style.

Aside from being friendly to the environment, SIGG bottles have many other advantages. They can be used for hot and cold drinks, the sizes range from 0.3 litres to 1 litre. After several different styles were tested by a family for six months the family found that the bottles prevent the water from tasting strange when left in the sun, the bottles held a colder temperature for longer and the bottle designs did not scratch or flake off.

The bottles are finished with a leak-proof cap and an acid-resistant interior for a neutral taste every time you sip. SIGG and the “Get a life, Art Lovers Unite” bottle are great to take to the office, picnic or just along with you on a day out.
Those that have not jumped on to the SIGG train, you are lucky enough to be able to choose a bottle with a clear message and great style.  If you are unable to afford one of the designers signature pieces then get a piece of Dame Westwood at an affordable cost. Priced at only £18, the second in the trio could be as popular as the first, “Act fast, slow down climate change now”, that was also featured at one of the designer’s catwalk shows earlier in the year.

A limited number of bottles are available in Vivienne Westwood stores, SIGG online and in selected retail outlets worldwide. Eliminate your carbon footprint with this trendy ecological accessory for everyday leisure.
