Turnout "very high" in snapshot of general election at 9:30am

A snapshot of the general election by The London Daily News the online daily newspaper in 20 polling stations in London are showing turnout is up 20-25% up on figures for the last general election.

Tellers of all parties are reporting that people have been queuing outside some polling stations to vote, indicating that there may well be a surprise election result.

Polling stations that The London Daily News is monitoring cover Enfield, Haringey, Camden and Barnet.
