Three people have committed suicide on London Underground and National Rail network. Thousands of commuters experienced long delays to their journeys yesterday evening, over a 100 trains were cancelled and passengers trapped for hours as power lines were switched off after the triple tragedy. At 3.30pm a person threw themselves infront of a Central Line train at Bond Street, then at 7pm there was a second death at Southfields station on the Distric line and finally half an hour later a person died on the tracks at Norwood Rail station.
