Batman otherwise known as "The Caped Crusader", "The Dark Knight" will be appearing in live performances around the UK from July in what is being billed as one of the most visually exciting spectacles to appear in the UK for many years. Batman Live is not a musical as the show's director kept pointing out, it will be "really rock and roll".
The launch of "Batman Live" in central London yesterday the worlds media assembled to be shown the scale of the live "Batman" show that will include insights into Gotham City with 3-D screens, the Batmobile which is being developed by Gordon Murray, special effects that are sure to excite.
A group of children who attended the launch were left rather shaken by the noise and the "Joker" with one child crying.
