Thieves ransacked the Bristol City football team bus before their match with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Kits, medical supplies and other valuables were snatched from outside their Croydon hotel the night before Saturday's Championship game in South London.

To heap more misery on the westsiders, Palace went on to hammer them 4-2.

Keeping in good humour the Bristol City manager Gary Johnson said the crooks also made off with their form.

The Eagles have now climbed to 14th in the table.
