- 16 year old stabbed whilst waiting for an audition at the Pleasance Theatre
Crime Desk Detectives from Islington borough investigating the assault of a group of teenage boys outside a theatre Holloway have made four more arrests.
The four, [B - aged 14, C -aged 14, D - aged 13, E - aged 15] were arrested Thursday 10 February and are currently in custody at a north London police station.
on Sunday 6 February. at approx 13:00hrs, Two of the victims were walking along North Road, close to the Pleasance Theatre when they were approached by three teenage boys who asked them for a cigarette, when they said they didn't have any, the three suspects, apparently unprovoked, assaulted them causing minor injuries.
The three suspects then walked on towards the theatre and confronted a group of approximately seven to ten teenagers who had just come out of the theatre. The suspects began to verbally abuse them and then launched into an attack on this second group, punching the victims, and at one point throwing a traffic cone at one of the victims and stabbing another in the back with a sharp instrument.
A 16-year old victim sustained a punctured lung as a result of a single puncture wound to his back. He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a north London hospital where he remains with injuries described as non life threatening. Several other victims sustained cuts and bruises.
The victims were in Islington for an audition at the Pleasance Theatre.
DC Sam Benbow, the investigating officer, said: "These young boys were visiting Islington and ended up being injured during a sustained assault. I appeal to anyone who was in the area at this time to come forward and speak to police in confidence."

Previously a 21-year old man [A] was arrested in connection with this incident. He has been bailed until April, pending further enquiries.
