Two 16 and 17-year-old boys have been charged with murder for stabbing to death Lyle Tulloch in Borough last weekend.
Lyle, 15, was attacked in a stairwell at Newall House at a party last Saturday, Tulloch became the 12th youth to die in gang related violence this year. Friends believe attack was planned
Friends at the same party believe it was a planned attack. The two killers, approached Lyle in the stairwell and accused Lyle of stealing a £50 mobile phone, then lunged at him with a hidden blade. He was stabbed three times, once in the heart. The lad screamed and collapsed bleeding at flats in Southwark, South London, at 1.40am on Saturday. Party had a 'menacing atmosphere'
Lyle's friend apparently leapt 20ft from a second-floor balcony to flee the killers. According to witnesses the murdered boy was laughing with his attackers only moments earlier. The party had what was described as a 'menacing atmosphere' as there were only a handful of girls and up to 20 boys. The two accused, who can not be named for legal reasons, will appear in court today.
