Teenager stabbed in Swiss Cottage

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that 16 year old was stabbed outside the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Swiss Cottage.
Police were alerted at 19.00hrs on Saturday 25 February to a teenager stabbed at Finchley Road NW3, near the junction with Frognal Court. It occurred outside the Holiday Inn Express Hotel.

The 16 year old was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital where his condition is now understood to be stable.

The victim was injured during an altercation involving a number of youths, who then made off on foot.

We must retain an open mind on any motive and the full circumstances at this early stage.
