According to reports from the private hospital The Priory in Southgate Susan Boyle the runner up in the Britain’s Got Talent competition is expected to stay for the "next few days" to recover from stress.

Residents in Southgate have to deal with the international media interest in Susan Boyle with photo journalists, television trucks and American media like CBS all camped outside the entrance of the hospital.

General Manager of the Bourneside Lawn Tennis club located inside the grounds of the Priory club John Kaponi has cancelled a junior tennis tournament because of the large media presence.

"For safety's sake we are postponing our tennis tournament the journalists have a job to do we are flexible and will wait for the storm to calm before all the children and parents can return."

Another local resident who spoke with the London Daily News confirmed that at around 8pm Sunday night a blacked out Mercedes and people carrier were seen driving into the Priory.

The Priory Hospital is a specialist hospital dealing with acute mental health services, secure and step-down services, specialist education, complex care and neuro-rehabilitation services

Sources within the Priory have also confirmed that a bodyguard has been in place to remove any media trying to get the "million dollar shot" of Susan Boyle in hospital.

Over 19 million people watched the Britain’s Got Talent seeing Diversity come first and Susan Boyle runner up.
