Sports Desk Tottenham Hotspur have ended arch rival Arsenal's Premiership hopes with a crushing 2-1 win at White Hart Lane, boosting the chances of Spurs to gain fourth spot and qualify for the Champions League. Spurs went 1-0 up when rookie Danny Rose scored on 33 minutes with a blinding 40 yard volley, sending the Spurs faithful into ecstacy and silencing the already irritated Arsenal fans. Gareth Bale then scored his first goal this season at the beginning of the second half, underlining the confidence the Spurs oozed throughout the match, and making 2-0. Arsenal pulled back a goal with Bendtner on 85 minutes, but Spurs kept pushing for another goal, and the game, despite 4 minutes of extra ended with victory for the mighty Spurs.
