That exciting summer seaside escape has never looked so inviting as Londoner’s seek to escape a wet, gloomy June.  Not sure of what to pack as you head out to the sun, sea and surf? Here we have a few of the latest looks sure to keep you turning heads from beach to bar, swapping daylight sand and salt for refreshing cocktails under clear balmy night skies.

This summer’s trends include big, bold and bright block colours, teamed with gold obi belts, as seen on the Spring/Summer runways for Gucci, Jill Sander and Prada and the orange and purple clashing combinations more recently on Cheryl Cole and Nicole Scherzinger. Floral prints and maxi dresses, opaque or sheer, are also on trend. Think of the wonderful array of colours flying about in a beautiful, exotic, tropical bird park as inspiration. Swimwear takes its inspiration from the retro glamour of the Fifties and Sixties.
