Susan Boyle the troubled runner up of the "Britain’s Got Talent" show is expected to remain inside The Priory "for weeks" and not days as was originally reported.

Sources within The Priory are indicating that Boyle was admitted a "mental health" hospital which means her treatment will not allow her to go on tour with the other contestants on BGT.

Residents near The Priory are having to learn to live with the broadcast trucks and the dozens of journalists "staking out" the private hospital in case of a sighting of Subo.  One local resident and manager of the Bourneside Lawn Tennis club John Kaponi said:

"We are getting used to seeing the journalists outside of the gates; we must remember that Susan Boyle has been admitted to the Priory because she needs attention and treatment.  I hope the press and the public will allow her to get better however long it takes".

Steve Allen the veteran LBC presenter scorned the media attention given to Susan Boyle and rated her singing abilities as "third rate".

The final of the Britain’s Got Talent attracted 19 million viewers, a record turnout for such a format.
