Predictable, with the exception of Turkey and maybe Russia the group stages have allowed the seeded teams to progress & the weaker to head home.

Holland have won three out of three yet are no nearer the final than Italy who eventually won a match. Surely for the sake of football we need to change the format of these tournaments.

How is it every year in June/ July the UK finally remembers its heritage in tennis by watching Wimbledon or Queens, and normally getting disappointed and then in August reverting back to soccer again.

Chelsea fans went on the rampage with over 200 throwing chairs and glasses at Police in the Fulham area.

Callers to BBC London and LBC have reported Chelsea fans charging riot police in the streets near Stamford Bridge. Riot police used CS gas to quell the violence, local residents in Chelsea have said that whole chunks of the area
