Mohammed Al Fayed the Chairman of Fulham FC, has pulled the "rabbit out of the bag" with the confirmation that Mark Hughes will be the next manager of Fulham FC.

Following the failure to prise Martin Jol from Ajax, Fulham approached Hughes immediately after, with Mr Al Fayed expected to provide funds for Fulham to make "an impact" during the summer transfer market.

Hughes will be bringing former colleagues with him which include Mark Bowen, Eddie Niedzwieki and Eddie Hitchcock.

Prime target for Fulham is believed to be David James the England goalkeeper who is reported by The Guardian as regarding Craven Cottage as his "preferred destination".
