Cllr Matthew Offord of Barnet has called for a General Election after voters in Edgware backed the Conservative candidate Darrel Yawitch in yesterday’s council by-election.
Darrel Yawitch received a massive 63% of all votes cast, 1917 votes ahead of the Labour Party. Darrel now becomes a councillor for Edgware alongside Joan Scannell and Helena Hart.
