London by all accounts is coming out of one of the worst recessions in memory, but this has not deterred seasoned culinary pro Salil Bhatia from investing his time and money with the launch of the Seasoning Restaurant and Lounge in Fulham.

"The food is traditional Indian cuisine with a 5 star hotel atmosphere at a nominal price" was how Salil Bhatia the owner of Seasoning explained the restaurants ethos.

The atmosphere of the restaurant does relax the customer with soothing lighting and well laid out tables, the food for someone like me who is not a big curry fan was very refreshing and extremely enlightening.

Our starters were a vegetable platter and the house special Aloo Tikki , both well cooked and presented on the plate.

The main dishes were a chicken tikka massala, the Goa Fish curry and spinach with cheese.  The tastes for someone who is not a fan of spicy food was light and and fresh.

The chef, who was "brought from India" according Mr Bhatia greeted all the guests of the restaurant to receive feedback, which by all accounts were all complimentary.

The desert was a Firni and Gulab Jamun which gave the meal the right the conclusion, which ended a pleasant experience in a well run restaurant.
