The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, and the First Lady joined the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry for a private dinner at Kensington Palace. They were welcomed by Prince George.
Prince George was allowed to stay up even though it passed his bedtime hour. He greeted the Obamas in his pyjamas, slippers, and dressing gown and shook the President’s hand. The lovely scene was shared on Kensington Palace’s Twitter page.
A spokesman for the palace declared that Prince George also wanted to thank the Obamas for the rocking horse they sent him as a gift at his birth.
The meeting was held on Friday evening, at 7:30 PM. The President and the First Lady were welcomed at their arrival by the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, chatted a bit, posed for the media, then returned inside the palace for the private dinner.
