Chelsea have completed the signing of Yuri Zhirkov From CSKA Moscow on a three-year Deal for a reported fee of £18 Million Pounds. Whilst they have also signed Ross Turnbull on a free transfer from Middlesborough and also signed the young wonderkid Daniel Sturridge from Man City with a fee to be decided at a tribunal. It is also reported that Chelsea are lining up a bid in excess of £45million Pounds for AC Milan's Brazillian youngster Alexandre Pato.
Manchester United have completed the signing of Gabriel Obertan From FC Boardeaux on a 4-year deal for a fee of around £3million possibly rising to £6million depending on appearances. They have also recently signed Wigan winger Antonio Valencia for £16.5million and Newcastle's injury proned striker Michael Owen on a free transfer. Man Utd are also reportedly set to bid £25million for Valencia Drifty winger David Silva.
Nemandja Vidic's wife has recently said she is unsettled in Manchester which has lead to Barcelona and AC Milan registring there interest in the strong serbian centre back.
Tottenham Hotspur have sold combative midfielder Didier Zokora to seville for a reported £8.5million, Zokora said the move will enhance his chances of securing a place in the ivory coast national team for the 2010 world cup in south africa. Meanwhile Spurs have been linked with many players during this summer transfer window with big names such as Arjen Robben, Gabrielle Heinze, Marcus Berg, John Carew, Klass-Jan Huntelarr and Lassana Diarra all mentioned. One deal that looks to be set for spurs is the £3million Pound signing of Kyle Walker from Sheffield United, Walkers has impressed spurs scouts over the past year.
Spurs record signing David Bentley is set for a move to Aston Villa for around 8-9 Million Pounds which is around about half of what spurs payed for him a year ago and Tom Huddlestone also being linked with Aston Villa and Everton.
Villa have also been linked with Tuncay and Stewart Downing which are both at the recently relegated Middlesborough.
To round up all the latest tranfer news Manchester city are looking to add Carlos tevez and Bayern Munich's Lucio to there squad for a combined fee off £35million. Real madrid are set to sign Karim Benzema for a fee of £30million possibly rising to £35million and have also ended their pursuit of Franck Ribery for the time being but have have re-knewed their interest in Liverpools Spanish International defensive midfielder Xabi Alonso. Hull Manager Phil Brown has expressed his desire to sign Fulhams Striker Bobby Zamora whilst Newcastle's Jonas Guttierez is set for a loan move to the italian giants AS.Roma.
Jo is also about to pen a 1year loan deal back to everton with a view of a permanent deal.
