Police - "deeply traumatic and horrific ordeal for the victim"

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that a 36 year old woman was stabbed by three men in Kilburn on her way home.
Brent Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident that occurred on Monday 20 February at 19:15hrs at Buckley Road, London, NW6.
A 36 year old, visibly pregnant woman was on her way home from work, walking from Kilburn tube station when she saw three suspects walking together ahead of her. The suspects had turned right off Calcott Road into Buckley Road and were now walking towards the victim.
All suspects passed by the victim, however, within a few seconds she was grabbed from behind over her left shoulder and around her neck. One of the suspects produced a knife and began to jab the blade into her stomach area violently and aggressively. She received cuts to her hand whilst trying to hold back the knife, which is described as 3" and brass coloured with a serrated edge.
She screamed and shouted which resulted in the suspect letting go of her casually and they all walked away in the direction of Kilburn High Road. She then called police from her mobile phone.
The suspects are described as black males, approx 15-20 years old. One of the suspects was wearing a 'Barbour' style padded jacket, dark green with a diamond pattern. He was also wearing black woollen gloves and a black hoodie.
The victim is 6 months pregnant.
PC Paul Connelly from the Priority Crime Unit at Brent said, "This was a deeply traumatic and horrific ordeal for the victim and we are treating this incident seriously. I believe that there would have been many people in the area at the time who may have seen or even heard the events leading up to this assault.
