Since when do \"British Interests\" include criminal and negligent activity? BP is guilty of cutting corners with regards to safety that cost the lives of 11 people and is now costing the livelihoods of thousands of people as well as destroying a HUGE ecosystem. Not to mention their negligence has cost stockholders thousands of dollars, endangering the pensions of hundreds, if not thousands of citizens of the UK. They have damaged the Gulf coast as surely as if they had dropped a dirty bomb on it and they did so in the name of saving a few days and a few million dollars; a drop in the bucket (pardon the pun) compared to what they would be making had they taken the time, effort and additional cost to do the job correctly. No people, defending BP isn\'t protecting \"British interests\" it is allowing a group of amoral, unethical criminals to get away with murder.
