Although the Tories, Osbourne apart, look more attractive than they have for years, I just can not forget Thatcher. For that reason, I just can\'t vote Tory.
On the other hand, whilst Labour may not have been perfect in the last twelve and a half years, there has been improvement in many areas, probably because the party governs for the majority and so the policies and improvements are there to see in every day life.
That said, Cameron, could be quite capable, but I am afraid I just don\'t like Seedy Osbourne. Even Hague has redeemed himself over the past few years, that awful speech when he was 16 going on 60 is now really just a memory.
To conclude, it has to be Labour. Think about it, have they really done that badly? Most countries suffered a recession, that can not be blamed on Labour.

There\'s been a world-wide recession, and with our greater reliance on financial services you might have expected Britain to suffer more than other countries. In fact we don\'t seem to be doing much worse or better than other developed countries. Indeed, this recession feels mild, particularly compared to the early 80s recession.
Given the obvious lack of seriousness of both Cameron and George Osborne, I have to vote Labour. It might be a different matter if Ken Clark were Tory leader, but that will never happen. |
Your poll should have an option for people who are thoroughly disgusted with the state of British politics and will not vote for ANY of the established parties. Individual MPs are elected in good faith by the public to represent them but in practice they are tied by a party machine which legislates purely to please political donors and lobbyists. The expenses scandal has demonstrated that a substantial number of MPs are little better than thieves when they have access to public money. I refuse to condone this and my ballot paper is going into the bin. |
It is truly frightening how many people would still vote Liebour. After the ruin that they have brought upon a country that was still functioning tolerably well as recently as 10 years ago. Now the nation is probably too broken to be mended by any party, even the Conservatives under the Bliar lookalike - Cameron.
God help Britain. |
I am a switcher from Labour to Conservative - I am appalled that Mandelson has been let back into the Government and the way he behaves and treats people especially the Conservative party and the Lord Ashcroft matter. What about Lord Paul and the other Non-Doms that give money to the Labour Party? Why is it okay for them to survive on money from the Unions and the Conservatives not from Ashcroft? |
If you want to base your vote on what that party did 40 years ago, we might as well just all give up and be ruled by a dictator! Labour have been a disaster and it\'s time we gave the Conservatives a chance. Labour have done nothing for business except hike up business rates and national insurance, and done nothing for our community.
It\'s obvious the Conservatives have changed under David Cameron and for me they deserve a chance. Labour don\'t deserve any more chances. |
I just cannot forget Thatcher and how she raped this country of all its assets and gave them to a select few, so Tory is a big no no. Labour winning in 1997 was a huge breath of fresh air but for me they have not stuck to their socialist principles.
Until a party makes a clear statement as to how they intend to redress the balance to allow everybody the opportunity to have a place to live and switch the heating on, I am going to have to spoil the ballot paper. |

What does Thatcher have to do with this??!! Typical of the left which can not look in the mirror and see the problem. Thatcher put us through a lot of pain to fix the mess Labour got us in back then. Now we have to go through it all again. Labour, yet again, is incompetent, deceitful, smug and arrogant. It deserves to be punished for what it has done. |
