Police squads in chemical boiler suits have raided a suspected crystal meth factory in Paddington.

Roads were closed and examination tents erected after barrels of chemicals were found in a property. A man has been arrested.

Bomb feared

Originally cops thought the man was making a chemical weapon, or 'dirty bomb' - using the house as a bomb factory.

José Eduardo Vieira, 29, will appear before Westminster Magistrates charged with producing a class A drug.

DNA to identify Spain air tragedy victims
DNA tests will be needed to identify many of the 153 people killed in a Spanish plane crash, officials say. Authorities say many victims were so badly burned that fingerprint and other identification will be impossible. The crash of flight JK5022 at Madrid's Barajas Airport on Wednesday is Spain's worst air disaster in decades.
