"This is preparation that should be taken seriously. Israel is investing time in preparing itself for the complexity of an attack on Iran" - IDF spokesman in The Times

Israeli warships in the Red Sea port of Eilat are believed to be on "high alert" and ready to attack and eliminate Iranian nuclear plants in what is an escalation of "preparedness" of the IDF (Israeli Defence Force).

The Times has confirmed that two missile class warships "sailed through the Suez" only ten days after the nuclear armed Dolphin submarines also passed through the Suez.  The passage through the Suez is a sign of the strengthening ties between Israel and Egypt who has a "shared distrust of Iran".

The Dolphin Submarines a German Type 212 nuclear armed vessel is described by its German manufacturers in vague terms of its nuclear capabilities   "the detection that the submarines were equipped with two types of torpedo tubes (533mm and 650mm respectively) fueled speculation that the submarine might have a possible nuclear role, given that 533mm torpedo tubes would have been sufficient for the weaponry that was to be installed on board" reports Globalsecurity.org.

Indeed German newspaper Berliner Zeitung reported that Israeli engineers had modified the missile launching pads of earlier Dolphin submarines at the Kiel's HDW dockyard in Germany, possibly to accommodate nuclear warheads.

Pressure has been mounting ironically from other Arab states worried about a nuclear arms race in the Middle East for Iran to eliminate its uranium enrichment programme, an appeal the Iranian mullahs and President Ahmadenijad has failed to adhere to.

IDF troops will have to undertake operations from Israel and Egypt, into Iran with over a dozen targets and a range of 800 miles from base.  This will be the toughest mission for the Israeli's, with newly acquired Arrow Interceptor missile system from the US, designed for this type of operation believed to be at the vanguard of the IDF's capabilities.

The British government confirmed that it would revoke export licenses to Israel for parts to the Sa’ar 4.5 gunships because the vessels had fired on Gaza during Operation Cast Lead, Israel’s controversial 23-day campaign against the militant group Hamas. The spare parts were intended for the ships’ guns.

Regional states including Greece and Turkey have also alerted their own navies to anticipate an Israeli attack on Iran in early August.

There will be no "nuclear" threat in Iran by the end of the summer, what a shame! The mullahs better wake up and understand Israel is not going to accept this situation sitting down.
