Newton Faulkner Joins OneTaste To Celebrate London’s Most Talented

NEWTON FAULKNER is set to join a host of talent this Sunday for a brand new festival celebrating a feast of alternative entertainment.

Musicians, poets, alternative thinkers, filmmakers, actors, DJs and dancers will converge for a unique one day experience to showcase the newest and best music and arts culture arising from the London underground scenes.

Spanning a day and night, OneTaste Festival takes place on Sunday November 8th on all 3 floors of The Bedford in Balham, showcasing over 45 acts and celebrating the culture surrounding this rising underground music and spoken word collective by throwing live philosophy, dance, workshops, theatrics, film, talks, designers and DJs into the mix.

Newton Faulkner started out as an unsigned artist playing OneTaste’s first ever gig at The Bedford, Balham. Five years on, with three million sales from a number one album and his second just released, Newton returns to the fourth annual OneTaste Festival to show his support for OneTaste and their championing of new talent.

Festival highlights include The Correspondents, Laura Dockrill, Jono McCleery, Bridgette Amofah, Laura J Martin, Speakers Corner Quartet, Parkbench Poet, Sound of Rum fronted by Kate Tempest, David Goo, Gabby Young and Other Animals, lucid dreaming workshops, screening of award winning film 1 Giant Leap and talks from UK’s best-selling philosopher Timothy Freke, Bondage For Freedom installation (Sam Roddick’s movement) along with plus 35 other acts.

The festival will also be the launch for OneTaste’s 1st compilation album, out on 9th November for digital download featuring 14 stunning music and spoken tracks by artists including Portico Quartet and Little Dragon.
