Ringleader of the Tormentors Morrissey has cancelled another London show due to ill health. The intimate show at the Troxy Ballroom in Mile End was about to go ahead tonight - fans were given just hours notice last night. Earlier this month the ex Smiths frontman saw his Royal Albert Hall show k.o'd with throat problems. Doctor’s orders have wreaked the 50-year-old's UK tour with cancelled and rescheduled dates littering music lover’s calendars - there are now serious doubts over a planned three night residency at Brixton Academy this weekend. A spokesperson for the Suadehead star said: "Morrissey is on doctor's orders to postpone the show, to ensure a complete recuperation. Event organisers would like to apologise to fans for the disappointment and are working to reschedule this show, so advise ticket holders to hang on to their tickets." Morrissey cancelled several shows in America at the beginning of his world tour earlier this year due to illness. Royal Albert show now set for October
The cancelled show at the Royal Albert has been put back to October 27. Original tickets for the previously-cancelled shows will remain valid, while returns will be resold. Photo - Wikipedia
