The price of full sex offered by "working girls" has dropped to £50 for one hour, according to research by The London Daily News.  Figures released today indicate that escorts are increasingly competing for less and less work, forcing some to drop prices to £30 for 30 minutes, and £50 for one hour.

The influx of eastern European women, especially from Poland and Hungary in London, has meant that many women are desperate to make an income from sex work and are prepared to have "bareback sex" which is in effect unprotected sex.

Most of the working girls operate in bed-sits alone and often do not have "pimps" as has been widely perceived.  There are an estimated 10,000 working girls in London, with many more working in sauna's or in brothels.
