Two youths have been found guilty of shooting a 15-year-old boy dead as he slept at home in Peckham.

Michael Dosummu was blasted four times, once in the heart, with a Mac-10 sub-machine gun when the pair burst into his home and sprayed his bed with bullets.

Brother was target

The Old Bailey heard how Michael's older brother, Hakeem, was the intended target in revenge for another murder.

Prosecutor, Jonathan Laidlaw QC said:

"It was a well-planned and well-executed execution."

Mohammed Sanoh, 19, from Peckham, and Abdi Omar Noor, 22, from Camberwell, had denied murdering Michael in February 2007

Brother's drug dealing

Mr. Laidlaw told the jury how Hakeem was involved in drug dealing and three robberies of security firms. The killing that was to be avenged was the stabbing to death of Javarie Crighton, a friend of Mr. Sanoh's.

Revenge

Three days earlier Hakeem was on a robbery with Mr. Crigton who was attacked after confronting robbery organiser Orando Madden, the court was heard. Mr. Madden later surrendered to police, leaving Hakeem as the only target to take the fall, according to Mr. Laidlaw.

He added, it was rumoured that Mr. Madden cheated the younger robbers and that Hakeem had the money from the theft.

During the trial the prosecutor said:

"The intruders turned the light on and opened fire with a Mach-10 at a figure lying wrapped in a duvet....He had done nothing wrong."
