A former Metropolitan Police Service officer has today pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court to misconduct in public office.
Former Detective Sergeant Richard de Cadenet, aged 38, was charged following the Metropolitan Police Service's investigation into the misuse of his corporate credit card.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission managed the investigation which was conducted by the Metropolitan Police Directorate of Professional Standards.
Mr de Cadenet was bailed to return to court for sentencing on 4 September.
