Protesters banned from Westminster, hundreds of thousands caught up in Heathrow travel chaos. It could only mean a visit from US President George Bush.

The outgoing President is due to arrive in London on Sunday and several disruptions are expected at Heathrow as they practice for his arrival.

Seven hour delays

Heathrow officials believe there will be backlogs of up to seven hours when his two Boeing 747 jets, a 757 and four helicopters land. Security concerns mean arrivals of commercial flights will be almost halved for an hour.

The leader refuses to fly to a military base and instead lands at the world's busiest airport.

Whitehall protest ban

Anti-war protesters have been banned from demonstrating in Whitehall. The Metropolitan Police deny they are 'banning' anything but are closing the street for the Presidents 'safety.'

Police have offered alternative routes to the Stop the War Coalition who says Bush is 'dictating' their right to protest.

With merely months left in office the President will meet Prime Minister Gordon Brown to discuss the Iraq situation and Britain's 'winding down' operations.
