Two London boroughs have the UK's highest rates of child obesity, according to a government commissioned report.
16.1% of children in Hackney and Tower Hamlets were classified as obese. Two of the poorest areas in the city had an obesity rate one and half times the national average.
Hot spots
Public health minister Dawn Primarolo said: "Inequalities around the country are stark, but the NHS and local authorities can use these profiles to target local health hotspots."
Life expectancy
While the national study revealed a real north south divide in health and life expectancy, the divide in London was clear.
Rich areas in the city faired much better, men in Kensington and Chelsea can expect to live for 83.1 years, while in Manchester they die at 73 on average. Women in Kensington and Chelsea have the highest life expectancy in the country - 87.2 years. Click the link below to see how your borough faired
