London Chinese community aid relief for earthquake victims

The capital's large Chinese community have assembled today in China town to mobilise the Diaspora community of the capital and start an aid relief effort for the devastating earthquake in Sichuan province.

Thelondondailynews.com spoke with the representatives of the London Chinatown Chinese Association one of the capital's leading Chinese groups who will be focusing on "sending money and equipment" to China. 

The capital is home to over 300,000 Chinese and is one of the capital's most established and affluent communities.

The victims of the earthquake will exceed 50,000 according to latest reports from UN.
