London MEP backs call's for global carbon market hub in London

Syed Kamall MEP for London today endorsed the calls by the CBI to locate a global carbon market hub in London, ahead of the climate talks in Copenhagen.

Syed Kamall MEP for London said:

"With London's status as global financial centre under attack, the City of London must be at the epicentre of any attempts to establish a global carbon market".

"It is important London remains the leading centre in global carbon trading, with 80% of the global carbon market in London already, the City must take the leading role on the global stage and inspire a generation of "climate entrepreneurs"
