Israel has sent intelligence officers and assistance, Britain the same, the death toll is rising and tension in the world is heightening

Tzipi Livni the Israeli Foreign Minister and Presidential hopeful in a press conference from Tel Aviv outlined how the threat from extreme Islamic forces was a global problem and needs to be dealt with in this fashion.

The Israeli’s are believed to have sent intelligence agents and special troops with medical experts to help the Indian special forces in the ever developing crisis outside of the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai.

It is believed 5 Israelis have been killed along with 1 Brit Andreas Liveras, reports in the Evening Standard have also eluded to a possible British link to the terrorists.

Indian Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh claims two British-born Pakistanis were among eight gunmen arrested by Indian authorities, according to Associated Press reports.

If it is confirmed that the terrorists were in fact British born Pakistanis there will be a major investigation how these suspects were able to travel to India and carry out this operation.

Pakistan has offered the Indian government "full co-operation" in order to play down a possible reprisal by India.  Intelligence sources indicate that the Indian government is working with ally powers like Israel and the UK to carry out operations against Islamic militants on its borders in the immediate future.

Shah Mehmood Quershi Pakistani Foreign Minister speaking to CNN IBN said:
"We must pool resources together to fight this is a menace we must deal with collectively"

What remains the case is "panic and confusion" according to the Cypriot High Commissioner in Mumbai Mr Zenonos.  France is organising flights for all EU citizens who require to be flown out of Mumbai, flights to Paris.

London has stepped up its security preparedness with more visible police patrols in the centre of London.

The death toll across the city, which is expected to rise, now stands at 150, Mumbai police have informed international news networks that the deaths include eight foreigners. There are 279 injured, 22 of who are foreigners, according to the city's police control room.
