A teen who laughed as he stabbed a schoolboy to death in broad daylight just for looking at him, has been locked up for life. Ahmet Gomulu, 18, knifed Nassirudeen Osawe, 16, in the heart at a bus stop on Upper Street on Angel on December 27 last year. He showed no emotion at the Old Bailey trial. He will serve at least 12 years and another five concurrent for Grievous Bodily Harm for attacking the victim’s friend. "Why you screwing me?" Nassirudeen was an A-level art student about to turn 17 who was on his way to the West End with friends when he caught the eye of Gomulu as they waited for a bus. Gomulu confronted him and said: "Why are you looking at me, why you screwing me?" before stabbing Nassirudeen twice - became the 27th teenager to die violently in London in 2007. That figure has already been surpassed this year. Totally unprovoked DCI Mick Broster called the attack on the innocent young lad totally unprovoked . Adding: "My thoughts are with his family and hope that this conviction can bring some solace to them." In a statement his family called Nassirufeen: "… a kind, happy, principled, intelligent and fine young man whose life was cut short by a senseless and meaningless act. He was every mothers dream."
