The best the country can hope for at the next election is a hung parliament, the Conservatives under the leadership of David Cameron are merely a carbon copy of the New Labour project with the added difference that they drew their party back from the right wing and into the centre ground where Blair drew his party from the left & firmly placed them in the middle.

David Cameron and his merry band of men offer little or no vision at present & seemingly wait for the Gordon Brown leadership to hit the buffers. The New Labour project may be dead but this certainly doesn’t mean that the Conservatives have the automatic right to govern for let’s be totally honest nobody is crying out for a Conservative Government for the average man/woman in the street sees no difference other than cuts, cuts & more cuts. The only hope for the electorate is to vote Liberal Democrat and force a hung parliament on the nation for this will concentrate the minds of all politicians and finally deliver a hammer blow to the two party state that has for too long controlled British politics.

Whoever forms the next Government must ensure that the Liberal Democrat MP Vince Cable is at least Paymaster General for it is time to put party differences aside and do what is right for the people of the UK. Time to break up the duopoly and vote Lib-Dem so we can create a hung parliament and place the interests of the nation before the self interest of party politics and those in the establishment that see parliament as a stepping stone to second homes and careers in the media.

After the recent economic turmoil which has plunged the finances of the nation firmly into the red we need a Government of stability which seeks to balance the books by cutting back on waste but not cutting front line services in a savage or inconsiderate manner. A hung parliament would change the face of politics in the UK for a few years and allow the two main parties to find their souls and offer at the following election a real alternative to the last decade of media spun centre ground claptrap. A period of political instability could well be the answer to economic stability and may well lead us all down the path of 3rd way politics where the vote and view of the people is paramount and where politicians offer us hope but do not delude themselves or us the electorate with false promises that can or will never be delivered.

I’m voting for a hung parliament at the next election maybe you should think about doing this to.
