A new opinion poll seen by The London Daily News, is indicating that the Labour vote in London is falling rapidly, raising the hopes of a Conservative white wash in certain areas of the capital.  The opinion poll seen by The London Daily News is indicating that the Tory vote may surpass 40% raising the potential that traditional Labour heartlands of London are at serious of falling to the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats.

Conservative party workers speaking to The London Daily News said:

"We have not seen the Labour voters, or Labour campaign, its weak and non-existent in London".

Gordon Brown is now believed to be third in the standings of the leaders of the main political parties, after the final debate on the economy, which was meant to be a "banker" win for the Prime Minister.

Today The London Daily News has endorsed David Burrowes the Conservative candidate in Enfield Southgate to be its next MP.  John Kaponi the editor-in-chief of the newspaper made a personal plea to the thousands of Greek-Cypriots in Enfield Southgate to support Burrowes, "it’s my opinion David Burrowes has worked very hard for Enfield Southgate, I live here and know what a true servant of the area he is and is very affable and hard working.  Therefore I unreservedly back David to remain the  MP in Enfield Southgate".
