Editorial Clearly the split with Peter Andre and PR firm CAN Associates (Katie Price PR before the split with Peter Andre) has resulted in some major PR gaffs for Jordan, but the interview with former Mirror editor Piers Morgan must take the cake in terms of ultimate PR gaffs.
In an at times inconsistent "tell-all" interview with Piers Morgan, Katie Price was asked consistently if her behaviour in Ibiza was acceptable for a woman with three children, her response was:
"I am not saying I am an angel or anything but to have a baby die, and because you see a picture in the papers your husband divorces you its hard", Katie Price speaking with Piers Morgan.
The mind set of Katie Price in the interview was interesting looking at her covert appeals to Peter Andre, and then her immediate and categorical acceptance her marriage is over shows unusually that Katie Price was unscripted and badly prepared for the Piers interview.
"I have one word for you slapper" - Piers Morgan following a clip of Jordan in Ibiza.
Katie Price's response:
"You can say I am a slapper, I was booked in 2 months ago, Pete was due to come with me to Ibiza, the gold outfit and the girl next to me had less on than me , I am not a slapper".
"But what have I done wrong?"
The comments of Katie Price follow images of her with groups of men and dancing in a nightclub in Ibiza.
And then the nightmare image that the papers will be using on Sunday, Katie Price showing her cleavage in front of Piers Morgan.
Katie, you have blown every chance of a reconciliation with Pete Andre. Showing your cleavage on television, showing no remorse for clearly reckless behaviour in Ibiza will not only torpedo your marriage to your husband but may harm your credibility in the press and the issue of custody of your children.
What a good PR would have done is to tone down Katie Price and to try to make sure that the negative press in the papers will only change if there is some humility. Instead the interview highlighted the road to destruction Katie Price has chosen for herself, not content with the millions in the bank but still on the look for cheap gigs to make money.
