It surely must be a matter of time before Harry Redknapp leaves White Hart Lane to be the next England manager, and it will be another bitter pill for those who support Spurs.  Only under Harry have we seen a team that is able to grind out results, show a potential that could bring in some real silverware.

Spurs fans have all stood behind Harry during his tax evasion trial, and we hope that now he is loyal to Spurs and remembers that Spurs are in the top four in the Premiership, looking at Champions League football next season.

Under England he will be scrutinised at every press conference with a microscopic eye, the pressure will be immense, and there will be no honeymoon, England fans want instant success.

Until the FA copy the formula that was followed by Denmark and Greece, namely of having 11 players and not pre-Madonna’s there is no chance of England winning anything.
