- London to be targeted by Islamic extremists in an attempt to transform leading historical sites like Trafalgar Square into Shari'ah
News Desk London authorities are preparing for further trouble on the streets of the capital with a "procession" planned on Saturday 31 October by the Islam4UK group which is the brainchild of Muslim fanatic Anjem Choudery.
The event which will see supporters and followers of Islam4UK proceed through central London on Saturday has already provoked an angry reaction by English nationalists groups and the extreme right party the BNP. A secular group has given its opposition to the Islam4UK group with many hundreds via a Facebook group "say no to Anjem Chaudary" pledging their support via a website www.seculardemocracy.org. and a request:
"Anjem Chaudhary is planning to hold a demonstration in favour of Sharia next Saturday. We are organising a broad-coalition of like-minded people to come together and show that we oppose their extremist views." The counter demonstration will meet at 1pm in Piccadilly Circus according to organisers.
The Islam4UK group has made the following the demands:
"We hereby request all Muslims in the United Kingdom, in Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and all other places to join us and collectively declare that as submitters to Almighty Allah (SWT), we have had enough of democracy and man-made law and the depravity of the British culture. On this day we will call for a complete upheaval of the British ruling system its members and legislature, and demand the full implementation of Shari'ah in Britain."
The "procession" by Islam4UK itenary is below:
1. House of Commons
"The primary source of polytheistic legislation in Britain, the House of Commons is at the centre of Britain's oppressive law making policies; from here fallible men and women decide what should be legal and illegal. It is from this very place where the lives of millions of people in the UK are changed and it is from here where unjust wars are launched. Islam4UK stewards and guides will be at hand to direct all attendees to the centre of the congregation from where the March for Shari'ah will officially commence."
2. 10 Downing Street
"After demanding the abolishment of the House of Commons Muslims will then march to 10 Downing Street, and call for the removal of the tyrant Gordon Brown from power."
3. Trafalgar Square
"It will be here where the march will culminate and finish and we hope that with the help of Allah (SWT) it will be very successful."
