Illegal migrants that are said to be mostly from Turkey have come to add more concerns on the Greek nation.

Just as the Greek people are trying to recover from the serious economical problems that affect the country for quite some time now a new major issue has come to haunt the nation.

Illegal immigrants mainly from Turkey have increased by a astonishing 369 per cent which comes to around 31,000 immigrants according to The Daily Express these illegal immigrants are making their way into the country through the border between Greece and Turkey from areas of southern Europe.

Migrants which include Afghanis, Pakistanis, Africans and Kurds, make there way towards rural Greek villages in order to get arrested by local authorities so that they can claim asylum within the 27-nation bloc.

Deputy Director of EU border agency Frontex said: “The main problem of tackling this is the little, if not to say lack of cooperation from the Turkish side”.
