Hunt for Tube teen stab attacker - CCTV stills

Police are hunting for this youth after a commuter was stabbed at a tube station.

The 17-year-old victim was sliced with a sharp object at Clapham South on the afternoon of 28th January.

A fight started on the street between the two which spilled over into the booking hall resulting in the teen receiving a cut to his side.

The attacker, believed to be aged around 16-18, ran into Hazelbourne Road as he fled.

Detective Constable Carl Wayte, one of the investigating officers, said:

"I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image or was in the area and may have seen something which can assist the investigation to come forward."

Anyone with information that can assist the investigation is asked to contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40, quoting incident number 243 of 28/1/2010.
