Police are looking for this man, dubbed the Peckham Terminator who hurled racist abuse at bus passengers in a You Tube video.

For nearly four minutes the man in his twenties rampages on the No 37 bus at Rye Lane after refusing to pay his fare and screaming obscenities at the driver and commuters. After two minutes he calls a woman a "black c**t" and invites her out for a fight.

The man, who appears intoxicated, finally smashes his way through the rear doors and storms off. The driver did not leave his cab or attempt to remove the troublemaker from the bus..

The incident last Sunday was filmed by sniggering youths on mobile phones who dubbed him the terminator - telling viewers at the end: "welcome to Peckham."

Detective Sergeant Nick Amos, of Southwark CID, said:

"We are appealing to anyone who saw this incident to contact police.

We are aware that footage has been posted on a video-sharing site and need to speak to witnesses or anyone with information.”

Witnesses or anyone else with information should contact Mr Amos at Southwark CID on 020 7232 7529 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

Click video to see the footage - Warning strong langauge appears from the begining.

This report is false! At no point does he say "black c*@t" he says "fat c@*t". He does not seem drunk in anyway but does have a strong temper. From watching the video, it looks as though he is upset that someone has ACCUSED him of being racist. It is this that he takes exception too and winds him up. I presume this is why he is shouting, "don't bring up 'Black' in my face". We don't know why he has been accused of it as that has not been filmed. Please, if you want to play at journalism, please try to stick to the facts and not your own Chinese whisper version of events. I've heard this started with the driver refusing to drive on because of something innocuous regarding the man and perhaps the whole thing could have been prevented with a little leeway by the driver. Refusing to drive on penalises ALL the passengers and so surely always going to cause trouble - all over £1.20. I really don't know why they do it.. Jobsworths? Fear of loosing their jobs? Yes, welcome to London! Then, self-important passengers step in and make things actually worse for themselves and others!
