A man has hung himself on play equipment at a children’s park in Tulse Hill.

Parent's taking their kids to the popular Brockwell Park between Tulse and Herne Hill were turned away Saturday morning after a dog walker made the gruesome discovery.

Police and forensic officers examined the area near the One o'clock for several hours.

The fact the man chose this location was described as 'macabre' by parents.

'Local' man

It is believed the 25 to 35-year-old man is from the nearby Tulse Hill Estate. A police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious.

An inquest into the man’s death is due to open at Southwark Coroner’s Court.
