Hackney is today the scene of another horrific homicide with only 2 days gone in 2012, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed that a woman was abducted from her home and then murdered, with two others seriously hurt. Police were called at approx. 07:10hrs on Monday 2 January to reports of a disturbance at a residential address on Brownlow Road, E8.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A 22-year old man [Victim 1] and a 24-year old woman [Victim 2] were taken to an east London hospital suffering from stab wounds.
Victim 1's condition is described as stable. Victim 2 has been treated for minor injuries.
A month old baby girl [victim 4] was also taken from the address to hospital as a precaution. She remains in hospital under observation.
The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a grey Fiat Stilo prior to police arrival having abducted a 20-year old woman.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspect.
At 08:30hrs police and London Ambulance Service were called to an abandoned car - the Fiat Stilo - on Ryder Mews, E9 where they discovered a 20 year old woman [Victim 3] suffering from stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at 08:34hrs.
Whilst we await formal identification we believe the victim to be Kirsty Treloar, aged 20 (24.6.91) of 41 Brownlow Road, E8.
Officers believe she was abducted from her home in Brownlow Road.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
A murder investigation has been launched by the Homicide and Serious Crime Command under Acting Det Ch Insp Andy Yeats.
No arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.
