News that a minor Greek pop star is making the headlines in Greece is making news across the globe, all for the wrong the reasons.  A video of Julia Alexandratou a British born Greek pop star , who released such eponymous hits in Greece like "The Target is Cash" symbolised the excess that has catapulted Greece into the economic mire it is now in. 

A video tape of Alexandratou involved in sex acts has been leaked on the internet with Jason Athanasiadis in The Independent today reporting:

"It's a big scandal in Greece, it's the first time a Greek celebrity did something like this and it got out."

The video of Alexandratou has been snapped up by over 250,000 customers, according to the Greek media.

A small clip of the video is featured by the London Daily News; the video contains sexually explicit scenes and may offend.

Equally embarrassing are revelations that a female Greek naval officer was filmed in a "provocative poses" which was filmed and leaked to Greek media yesterday.
